Here things got a little tricky as I needed to turn on the power for the fan. Using and old egg scale as the trigger for the switch turned out to be the perfect solution.

For the success of the project I needed to darken all the windows in the basement to make it darker. But then when the shotgun fires the bullet out the window, it is daytime... go figure?!
