Filmmaker Craig Knitt directs his grandmother, Myrtle Knitt in her big scene while his mother, Karen Knitt prepares to assist her. The script for "HappyBoy" was written in 2002 but because of the difficulty of obtaining the main location it remained on the shelf for years. Watching in the background is the owner of the Marion Plaza, Dave Joerres who was instrumental in allowing us to finally make "HappyBoy"!
